Goal Setting: Week of July 12, 2015

This was a busy week.  I spent the week trying to recuperate from our trip a few weeks ago, and Prince Charming spent his time preparing for a mission trip.  We also had a couple of extra activities we needed to provide transportation for, and I spent a lot of time on the book, which means I didn't get as much work done around the house.  Next week I'm hoping for slightly more calm but we'll see.  Here are my goals for this week: Spiritual: Devotions (5/7) Designated prayer time (2/7) Mental: Journal (2/7) Physical: No soda 8 c. of…

2015 Goals: 6-Month Evaluation

Well it's the beginning of July already.  Do you know what that means?  It's already been six months since you made your new years resolutions!  It's been 6 months since you set your goals for the new year.  Now is the time to look back on those goals, evaluate your progress, and adjust your goals as necessary.  Because your resolutions shouldn't be set in stone or you'll most often find yourself in failure at the end of the year.  Smart goals need to be evaluated and adjusted periodically, and that's what we're here to do. Here were my goals at the…
