Favorite Apps: Apps That Save You Money

Since our budget has fluctuated so much in the last few months, I've been attempting to become a little more frugal with the little bit of money that we have so that what we have might stretch a long way. Of course I've received much help from my coupon-fanatic best friend of 15 years and some extremely helpful websites similar to CreditAssociates for an example, a service that aids people in relieving their debts (I'll share those at another time), but I definitely appreciate the little helpers that I can carry with me everywhere right on my phone. Scrapbooking (and Smashing!) Heaven

Yesterday, I was on the hunt for lots of miscellaneous scrapbooking and smash booking STUFF.  At this point, I really don't remember exactly what I was looking for, but I'm sure I got way off track in the process anyway.  I have a major problem with scrapbooking supplies.  And digital scrapbooking supplies.  I have yet to really get into digital scrapbooking, but I am seriously considering it.  The only down side is that I can't paste any other additional ticket stubs or keepsakes in it.  (If you have a solution for this, please let me know!) Sickies

It is, undoubtedly, still cold season--at least at our house.  I can't even seem to muster the energy to write (what I feel is) something that sounds remotely decent.  For four weeks, we have had sick germs floating around our house.  It started when "the boy next door" got sick...and made his entire family sick. My Top Homeschool Resources

This week, my sister made the comment that she is considering homeschooling my niece for Kindergarten and 1st grade. While I am not one with the patience to do anything like that, props to her! But it got me thinking, as she asked her "teacher friends" about resources. Even though I don't homeschool my kids, I subscribe to many blogs that make learning at home a lot easier. I'm that crazy mom that makes her kids learn over the summer (don't worry, they get more than enough play time!). And I'm glad I do. Over this past summer, my daughter…

In Keeping with Goal-Setting (FREE PRINTABLE!)

For a couple of days at the end of 2013/beginning of 2014, I searched and searched all over Pinterest and the web for some planners that fit my style.  I wanted to be intentional about my planning this year, but I don't really have the money to spend so I was looking for something free--and attractive.  I had a difficult time finding what I wanted...so finally I just came up with something myself!  Here are my brand new FREE Printables for your personal use only. I also started using this new app on my Android phone called GoalTracker.  This app…
