Christmas Plans
So I don’t know about you, but our household is already excited for the holiday! With tonight being Christmas Eve, I hope you have all of your shopping completed and that you’re not rushing about trying to get things finished. If you are, I hope everything is ready in time!
We’ve already begun tracking Santa’s trip around the world with Google’s Santa Tracker app, I’ve been defrosting a turkey, and we are looking forward to visiting with my parents tonight, attending our church’s Christmas Eve service, and then stopping by a friend’s house for their annual Christmas Eve party.
Santa will be visiting our house tonight, and tomorrow morning should be relatively relaxed with gift opening in the morning, a last minute visit from my in-laws tomorrow afternoon, and possibly stopping by to visit my parents again tomorrow evening.
Our Christmas plans continue into Friday and Saturday with a Christmas brunch at my in-laws on Friday and then extended family gatherings on Saturday.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the holidays to be over. I really love celebrating the birth of Jesus, friends, family, and picking out things my children will love. But I’m not a big fan of traffic, spending money, frantically trying to find the time to wrap gifts, and just the overall materialism.
But we’ll try to focus on our blessings this season, and I hope you will too.
What are your plans for Christmas?
