Scripture Sunday: Stay Calm

“The Lord Himself will fight for you.  Just stay calm.“

– Exodus 14:14

This verse has just popped into my head a couple of times this week, and when I feel like freaking out, this is a good verse to remember.  I have it in my household management binder and in my bedroom, and I find it a helpful reminder that we’re not in this thing called life on our own.  Whether you have been living in sin and feel like God can’t possibly be with you, whether you just feel like you’re alone in life, or if you’re just having a rough time, remember that God is fighting for you because He loves you.  You can’t control life’s circumstance.  So be still, and let God fight for you.
