Goal Setting: Week of February 7, 2016

Well, this week was somewhat of a distracting week. Our family was in a tough spot since we had to put our dog down, and we made the decision to move forward to finding a new puppy. I realize some may reject the idea of getting a new puppy right away, especially with all the training a new puppy will need to have, and whilst having to research 'dog kennel cost' in order to find the most cost effective and suitable one for them and for us, as well as all of the other products we have to purchase! Goal Setting: Week of January 31, 2016

Thanks to all of the snow that came last weekend, I did fairly well on my goals for this past week.  The kids were home Monday through Wednesday and had two-hour delays on Thursday and Friday, which cut out my gym time.  So even though I accomplished absolutely NONE of my physical goals, I did fairly well with everything else.  Here how things looked for this past week: Spiritual: Devotions (5/7) Designated prayer time (1/7) Mental: Journal (1/7) Finish reading Make It Happen by Lara Casey Finish reading Where Is God When It Hurts? by Philip Yancey Finish 2 cross stitch colors (I…

Goal Setting: Week of December 6, 2015

So I had my weekly goals post all set up for last week, and then I hurt my back and everything went out the window.  So not only did I lose track of things but I didn't do very well on my goals this week either.  Here's how it looked: Spiritual: Devotions (5/7) Designated prayer time (2/7) Mental: Journal (3/7) Finish reading Do Over by Jon Acuff Physical: Drink soda only 2 days 6 c. of water daily (3/7) Exercise (3/7) Family: Devotions with Prince Charming (1/7) Devotions with Babies (3/7) 1 hour with Prince Charming Spend time with Princess Anna Spend…
