Where Have I Been?
Well let me just start by saying the last two weeks have been incredibly busy, and this week is no different.
Over the last two weeks I have been in the process of moving my site over to a more reliable host, which will hopefully get me a little bit more out there. I finally finished that last week, and boy was that a relief. I also completed our May menu (which I will post for you on Thursday), updated our summer calendar (which I will finish and post tomorrow). I also had the opportunity to finish three books: Fearless by Max Lucado, What Are You Afraid of? by David Jeremiah, and God has a Dream for Your Life by Sheila Walsh.
Two weeks ago tomorrow, my grandpa passed away. We were always very close to my grandpa, because we visited him for months at a time when we were younger. His passing was a great loss to our family, but he lived a long and (mostly) healthy life, had many friends, a better social life than I have (!), and is now in Heaven with my grandma and my Uncle Tom. We drove 12 hours there that Thursday-Friday, left Saturday, and got home last Sunday.
This week, Rapunzel has counseling tomorrow, we have parenting class tomorrow, softball three days this week, soccer two days this week, two field trips, the school’s May celebration, and a tournament Saturday-Sunday. Whew.
I still plan to be around, though. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post on Wednesday or Friday, but hopefully I’ll be able to fill in some gaps tomorrow and Thursday.
Well, enough of my crazy. What does your week look like?
