Scripture Sunday: Love+Fear

Because my upcoming book is about fear and we just celebrated Valentine's Day, I thought this verse appropriate for today: There is no fear in love.  But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.  We love because he first loved us. - 1 John 4:18-19

Work in Progress Wednesday: Monthly Menu Planning

I was so excited this morning to find out that we have food money.  I don't think I've ever been so excited about something so seemingly small, but we've really been struggling, and I am so thankful that we can finally put food on the table without worrying about eating the same thing every day or if there will be enough for all of us. It's raining today. And icy. And gloomy. Week in Review: Week of February 1, 2015
