DIY Raised Garden Bed: Part 2

A few weeks ago, we took the plunge to start up our summer garden again. We booked a lawn care specialist from https://www.lawncare.net/service-areas/massachusetts/ to come and take a look at what could be done to get the grass looking a little happier. Prince Charming built another planter box for us, and we took an entire morning to loosen the ground, spread soil, and plant our seeds. You can see how badly the garden looked before and after in the gallery shown below. It definitely looks so much better! This year, we planted sweet corn, carrots, watermelon, cucumber, zucchini, sunflowers, geraniums,…

Scripture Sunday: You Are God’s Masterpiece

"For we are God's masterpiece.  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." - Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) We are a masterpiece.  We are a Michaelangelo, a Vincent van Gogh, a Leonardo daVinci, a work of art like the Mona Lisa.  The difference?  We are from the master artist.  The artist who created the master artists.  He created us brand new through His son, Jesus Christ.  And He has plans for us.  Plans he set out for us from the beginning of time.  We have a purpose.  And…

What's on your menu this month?

Work-in-Progress Wednesday: Printable Scripture Cards

Last week I started working on a project that I think you will really enjoy.  I was looking for a way that I could carry around some of my favorite Bible verses with me so that I can refer to them when I really need them (and eventually memorize them).  I did find some I liked, but I also wanted something a little more extensive.  I did find one idea on Pinterest that I really liked: after you print out the cards, punch holes in them, place them on a key ring (or book ring), and attach them to your purse…
