24 Books to Read in 2017

In keeping with tradition, I had to share my reading plans again this year.  I reached my goal last year, but since I'm looking for a full-time job, I've kept my goal the same.  I hope to read at least 24 books this year.  Here's what's on my list (some not yet released): Living Forward by Michael Hyatt Nothing to Prove: Why We Can Stop Trying So Hard by Jennie Allen Beloved Mess: God's Perfect Love for Your Imperfect Life by Kimm Crandall Choose Joy: Finding Hope and Purpose When Life Hurts by Sara Frankl Perfecting 7: A Practical Guide to…

48 Books I Read in 2016 (And the 3 That Changed My Life!)

At the beginning of 2016/end of 2015, I announced that my goal for 2016 was to read 24 books--two books a month.  While I didn't blow my goal out of the water with 66 like last year, I still was able to get a lot of reading done and ended up doubling by goal by reading 48 books. One Word 4.0 {with a FREE Printable!}

Because I am a creature of habit, I decided once again that I must choose a word for 2017 and attempt to live by it as my focus for the year. I failed miserably last year.  My goal was to live out my year as…

Apart from goals, there are other things I look forward to each year but don't necessarily classify them as goals.  These are my "would like to dos."  They are good for the family and just overall, they are "bucket list" items for the year.  While many of my bucket list items stayed the same, I have added a couple for this year. Here's what I hope to do this year: Create a valuable memory with the kids Provide 2 (or more!) opportunities for the…

January 2017 Goals

Well, it's a new year, my friends!  I've set my annual goals, and now I've broken them down into monthly goals.  I hope this year to share with you each month how I'm progressing toward each of my goals.  I hope that you will do this as well, so as we work on this together we will succeed together.  (Here's hoping!) So for the first month of the year, here's what I'm hoping to accomplish: Spiritual: Devotions (at least) 20/31 days Devotions with Princess Anna and Rapunzel (at least) 20/31 days Devotions with Prince Charming (at least) 20/31 days Mental: Journal…
